Shipping and Handling
Freight charges are FOB shipping point. Shipping charges are prepaid and added to your invoice. Shipments are made “best way,” unless otherwise specified. Shipping days for frozen products are normally made Monday through Wednesday only. We cannot accept responsibility for shipments made by customer’s request which are contrary to our normal shipping schedules. All frozen products are shipped in well-insulated containers designed to ensure product efficiency upon arrival. If dry ice is required, a charge of $20.00 per carton will be applied.
Returns
A return authorization number is required for all materials returned for credit or replacement. We are not liable for products which become unstable because of improper storage or treatment, or items which are on hand after recommended shelf life. All returns are subject to a 20% handling and restocking fee exercised at our discretion.
Cancellations
For stock items, cancellation of orders must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled shipping date. Custom orders will be considered firm and non cancelable.
Claims
No claims beyond replacement or credit of any unacceptable material, as confirmed by Omega Scientific, Inc. shall be honored. Title of goods and responsibility for damage or loss shall pass to the buyer upon delivery to the carrier. Claims for damage or loss of products are buyers responsibility. Please notify us immediately upon receipt of shipment if there is a problem with any material.
Payment Terms
Our payment terms are Net 30 Days and are subject to approval.
Warranty
All sales are made without any Omega Scientific, Inc. warranty or representation expressed, implied or statutory, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Omega Scientific, Inc. shall not be liable to purchaser for damages, cost, loss, or expense of all or a portion of any order.
Conditions
All products listed herein are for in-vitro and research applications only and are not to be used for drug purposes or administered to humans. All information presented is believed to be accurate. Omega Scientific, Inc. retains the right to change, alter or add products, specifications, descriptions, testing methodologies, etc., on the basis of governmental mandates or at its discretion.

Minimum Order
Omega Scientific, Inc. does not require a minimum order, however, to defray order processing costs a $10.00 service charge will be added to all orders less than $25.00.
Export Shipments
Due to the added expense necessary to prepare for an overseas shipment, a $75.00 export charge may be applied to all orders under $500.00. Terms for export sales are Net 30 days on approved credit. A letter of credit is accepted in lieu of credit history. Also required are detailed shipping instructions, billing instructions, name of freight forwarder, preferred touting, and nearest airport.
